Shiatsu - 60 min
Shiatsu is based on the science of Chinese medicine that utilizes meridians, acupressure and five element theory to bring the body into harmony, freedom from pain/disease and optimal functioning. The treatment is given on a futon with the receiver wearing comfortable and fluid clothing. This allows for range of motion and the passive yoga stretching to happen and is how the treatment is traditionally given to receive the full benefits. It can be adapted to a massage table in certain situations.
